Traffic lights are also made of fibreglass-reinforced polyester resin, and we could add, even garden gnomes!

An important result of the business set up by Gian Pietro Borgnolo was the production of stadium seating. Designed by the Giacomuzzi Moore studio for the Stadio Friuli in Udine (1976), and manufactured in multiple blocks for the 1990 World Cup, Restel supplied most of the Italian stadiums. Other applications were also studied, such as the single-shell chairs for press boxes and a model of a bench to be used as street furniture.

A peculiarity: the Samsung Slider seating unit enables fans to stay close to the action on the American football field. The padded seats are fitted with seatbelts and move up and down a track.
