COSSUTTI
YACHT DESIGN
Maurizio Cossutti is one of the most representative Italian yacht designers. He was born in Udine and graduated in 1986 in Naval Engineering from the University of Trieste. In the same year, he joined Studio Starkel in Trieste and became a partner. In 2003, with Alessandro Vismara and Freek Koppelmans, he created the "Marine Technologies Boatyard" at Villesse, near Gorizia, which then became “2M Marine”, specialised in cruising and racing yachts built of composites. In 2008 he set up his own studio, Cossutti Yacht Design, collaborating to varying degrees with yacht owners such as Brava and Mascalzone Latino. Alessandro Ganz, born in Valdobbiadene, is a naval engineer who graduated in 2008 from the University of Trieste and in Yacht and Small Craft from the University of Southampton. He started working with Cossutti Yacht Design in 2009, and became a partner in 2013.
